The Painted Chamber at Painters’ Hall

Painters’ Hall is our beautiful and unique Livery Hall in the heart of the city of London! The venue comprises of 3 stunning events spaces, and is available for exclusive hire; the perfect venue for whatever your event needs may be.

The Painted Chamber is the smallest and most intimate of the event spaces at Painters’ Hall. The space accommodates just 16 people around its polished wooden boardroom table, the style and history of the Painted Chamber provides enchanting and intimate surroundings for special occasions such as business meetings, small lunches or private dining. The Painted Chamber can also host up to 20 people for a standing drinks and canape reception, for intimate private parties.

Some of the most important treasures of Painters’ Hall are located in this room. The painted panels executed in the early 18th Century for the previous Hall were carefully removed and preserved prior to the Hall’s destruction as a result of enemy action. The panels hang on walls which are a wonderful modern example of the Painter-Stainers’ art – they are decorated to appear as wooden paneling, and provide an elegant backdrop for your events.
